“What really sparked things up for us was we reached out to Black Lives Matter Nashville, and we asked them if they would support our protest,” says 15-year-old Jade. “We started getting a lot of demand, a lot of people asking us if we wanted any donations. What really helped us was [other] people — like, it wasn't all on us.
