I write sample scripts to model our ideal way of engaging our neighbors in longer, more meaningful conversations at the door. In training, our volunteers practice and personalize these conversations, learn more about why this kind of “deep canvassing” is effective, and are also taught about specific procedures (like how to collect ballot access petition signatures).
