Of course, Hiram takes this as a challenge and confronts a Molloy henchman on a dark street. Hiram stops short of killing the guy, which in turn gets him his butt kicked. Veronica bandages him up and home and says she’ll always be there for him, and later, she comes to him for a loan because Cheryl wants V to buy her out of the partnership. Veronica tells her father how proud she is that he showed mercy to the Molloy guy, and we get treated to a flashback of Hiram later going back to shoot Jinx Molloy twice, presumably killing him. Of course, he tells none of this to Veronica and he hands over a check and tells her he’s happy to be back in business with her.
