I wouldn't say I'm close to anyone in the industry. Most of my friends here are songwriters and they're in sessions literally every day. But I feel like all the girls I’ve met in this industry are so nice…you have a shared understanding of how weird it is to have our lives built around validation from strangers, and people we don't know liking our music.
