Beyond saying goodbye to a music festival that showcased acts big and small from the worlds of punk and alternative rock, the closing of Warped Tour also feels like a farewell to a place that embraced fans from different walks of life. Looking back at my first experiences where I met peers similar to me, I interviewed young Warped Tour attendees between approximately 22 sets at the event. I spoke with queer people and people of color, specifically, in an attempt to further dissect and describe my own.
