A new photo shoot produced by Nana for ESG’s website highlights the brand's commitment to helping black women push sartorial boundaries. “Our goal was to demystify the idea that bright colors are taboo for WOC to wear,” said Nana about the new editorial. “Whether it was in the '80s, when we wore colorful looks or nowadays where bold and vibrant colors are strongly embraced, black women have been the trendsetters in using bright colors in beauty and fashion.” He says that “Love is probably the strongest emotion that you can feel. It’s very natural—and I wouldn’t want to say easy—but natural and comfortable to write about, and there’s so many different forms of it, millions of layers, you could write forever about it.” Could we write about our love of this photo shoot forever?
