Anyway, Alice and Betty are perturbed to say the least. Hal instructs (and snaps at) Alice to take out her tape recorder, and once she does, he admits that great grandpappy Cooper (the one who changed the family name to Blossom) wasn’t murdered by his brother — he did the killing, then took on the Cooper name. Mr. Conway found out and blackmailed Hal’s father. Hal brings up, once again, the darkness that lives in him — and his father and grandfather — that now lives in Betty. He kneels in front of Betty and makes her say out loud that he’s the Black Hood and list off all his crimes (though, importantly, the debate fiasco last week was not him). edge lux 2 w And in a lot of ways, football was the perfect stage for this âconversation.â Because the reason some white folks are uncomfortable with this song is the same reason they call Cam Newton âdisrespectful.â And why, when Marshawn Lynch stopped bowing down to white sports journalists and just played his game, collective panic ensued. And why white people demanded that Mizzou football players stay in their lane and play the game when the athletes refused to play until Tim Wolfe resigned. White people are happy when black folks are entertainingâ¦but let them show an ounce of agency and itâs a problem. edge lux 2 w “The media” is an imprecise phrase. Loosely speaking, when we talk about “what the media is doing wrong,” it’s the sum of a series of editorial and business decisions mixed with human error. There is not a group of writerly-looking New Yorkers choosing whether or not to write too many articles about Hillary Clinton’s emails, though we all bore witness to that meme-ification. For every new horror vomited out of Donald Trump’s scandal-ridden campaign, along came that pesky false equivalency: He was caught bragging about sexual predation, engulfed in a fraud lawsuit, and explicitly threatening to ban Muslims, but her emails. edge lux 2 w He is so reliant on his identity as Iron Man, it begins to impact everything in his life, even his closest relationships. He has to learn to confront his fears when another threat, the Mandarin, rolls into town — who has a connection back to that New Year's party from years ago.ContentView Iframe URL7.Home Alone edge lux 2 w
