But SHEARE's music can't just be classified under as indie. "I make a weird hybrid of not super indie and not super pop, so I always joke that I'm not cool enough for the indie kids but not necessarily pop enough for the tweens," he says. "I fall in this gray area. But a lot of my favorite bands also fall in that gray area, like Coldplay and Keane and Travis and all the Brits. Everyone loves those bands, they just don't like to admit howmuch “She’d performed that night, and so I was like, ‘Oh, how was it?’ She said, ‘Oh, I was so nervous.’ And I was like, ‘By next year you’ll be totally fine. You’re killing it. I’m so happy for you.
