I happened to walk into a protest and a woman was carrying a sign saying âThe system isnât broken, itâs fixed.â I was thinking about what Iâd been reading, and it seemed to refer to this higher political system as well â the reason the Occupy Movement couldnât get anywhere, or Bernie Sanders couldnât get much steam or was suppressed by the Democratic Party itself. The system was working as it was supposed to.
