Blake, who played carefree It Girl Serena van der Woodsen in the series, posted a photo of the Constance Billard and St. Jude students from all the way back in 2007. Blake shared the throwback last weekend, captioning it “Class of ‘07 💋." The photo features the actors who played Blair's popular girl posse, plus Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester, and more. In order to get into character, the whole crew “listened to a lot of Nirvana, Hole, and Smashing Pumpkins,” a musical genre that took the actress back to her own days as a punk rocker. “In 9th grade I was super into ‘90s music,” she says. “I had a really intense punk phase where I went to shows every Friday night and moshed my brains out. It was kinda funny tapping back into my 14-year-old self for this role. I listen to a lot of the same music like Cherry Glazerr and The Aquadolls.” Everybody knows that if you’re in a union, you’re going to make more money than a nonunion worker. You’re going to have better benefits, you may have a pension, better health care; that’s why workers want to join unions. And what our legislation does is, it says that if 50% of the workers in a bargaining unit plus one, a majority, sign a union card — that’s all they do, "I want to join a union" — you have the union. And if the employer refuses to negotiate a first contract, which takes place all the time right now, that employer will be severely penalized, because workers do have the constitutional right to organize in a union. Losing a pet is never easy, especially one that has been a part of your life for so many years, and essentially has become a part of your family.
