They fight, and this non-Hal Black Hood pulls out a gun, at which point Fred comes downstairs and knocks the guy out with a baseball bat. As Fred and Archie embrace, the attacker pops back up and shoots! Fred blocks Archie with his body and takes ANOTHER bullet to the chest. The shooter runs, and Fred reveals that he’s wearing a bulletproof vest (courtesy of Tom Keller before the diner trip). So he’s safe! Whew!
