It’s a black hood, which he has her put on and turn around, only to find her reflection staring back at her — to show Betty that they’re “the same.” What is this guy getting at??? Who IS he??? As she trudges slowly home, Archie calls to get her to the Pembrooke, where the girls are all comforting Cheryl, who’s in a much clearer state of mind now. She’s happy the gals saved her but distraught over the whole experience and wants to press charges against Nick.
