Working on Kat’s campaign was the privilege of a lifetime. Because of Kat, a movement in our state of Rhode Island has been created, one dedicated to passing the mic to youth organizers, trans people, and marginalized candidates. I am lucky to call her my family, to have worked on her campaign, and to live in a city that will go on to elect such a fearless leader as one of our next city councilors.
