Our president told us he’s racist last night for what feels like the thousandth time, and some people are still going to act like he isn’t. 750 glow in the dark racial-sensitivity training was teaching a “radical revolution taking place throughout the country,” he was right to the extent that racial sensitivity would feel radical and revolutionary compared to what we have now. The bar is so low that it really can feel like only a “radical revolution” could turn this country into a place of tolerance, acceptance, and equality. A radical revolution of Black and brown people wanting this country that they love, to be a place that could someday love them back.
