When I was a fairly little kid, like between six and nine years old, my parents gave me a tape recorder for my birthday or Christmas. That experience of being able to record myself and play it back and create things was definitely a huge coming of age experience. I think too, hearing Jimi Hendrix for the first time was a really huge thing for me. I was an early teen and there was something about that music that touched on some very deep territory. I was a little bit older like 14 and heard Acid House for the first time and I ran over to my cousin’s house and I was like "We have to figure out how to make this music." I think the first concert I ever went to, I saw Siouxsie and the Banshees and that totally blew me away.Instagram contentView on InstagramTVHow would you describe your music now?GRR: adidas fortarun running shoes Herrera said that these are systemic issues in many communities like hers. "A former headmaster even signed on. To put things in perspective: there were 120 people in our graduating class. So for the Berkeley community, this is a lot of people." Along with asking for signatures, the former students have also asked for monetary donations for those affected by the family separation. They have raised $10,000 and are hoping to reach $25,640, which is the cost of a year of tuition at Berkeley. adidas fortarun running shoes
