And what drama they gave us, particularly on the final day when no fewer than seven players were tied for the lead with just a handful of holes remaining. "We spoke a lot about the first 15 minutes with the crowd being hugely motivated to see a new manager start brightly and we knew that they would start brightly against us. I think we navigated some of those moments quite well but then became a little bit wasteful on the ball and when we lost it, the likes of Crooks and (Duncan) Watmore just started to get into very good positions on the transition and started to cause us problems. "But, because nobody has really come in and smashed it, there is always going to be that mystery or intrigue. "I'll sit down and reflect over the next few days and see what I could have potentially done better. Just wasn't quite as trusting as I was in the first few days. That made a big difference."
