I think men nowadays are very scared of the word ‘feminism.’ It has all of these negative connotations, and that’s the first thing we have to tackle is getting away from that. You’re a feminist if you want to support women and equal rights. That’s it. It’s that simple. That’s what the word at its heart implies: A man who is willing to see a woman, in every aspect of life, as an equal. So for me personally, I’m proud to say I’m a feminist. I have three sisters, and I can’t wait for them to go out and do amazing things in the world. I really support them and I think if you can’t want every woman to succeed to the best of her abilities, and have every opportunity you had as a man — that logic of not supporting that is not one that I understand.
