Women of color in CDA have made their own calculations about whether to continue their work within the organization. Our style doesn't slot in to any one sub-culture or category as we have a very improvisational nature, deriving inspiration from just about everything—gothic to punk to kawaii fashion. Our favorite fashionistas are the Spice Girls, Boy George, Lady Gaga, and David Bowie. We dress however we want to and what we love most about op-shopping is how cool it is to find value in something another person has disowned.
