"I love it here. This feels like my home. When I began pursuing music as a career I didn’t have that much support. I ended up running away to China for six months because I couldn’t do what my parents wanted me to, which was study business and go to university. I gave it a go but it really wasn’t for me. So I left the country and I suppose—it’s cliche to say —but I found myself. I discovered a lot of things about myself that I never knew. When I went back home I had the courage to record my first demo and really pour my soul into everything I tried. I was grateful to perform and record with incredible musicians. I was always just so excited about every opportunity that I would do a lot of things for free." good mtb stems Betty’s hospital visit is quite short-lived, because she finds a murdered doctor in her dad’s designated bed and as soon as she does, her dad/the Black Hood calls her and demands she come home. If she takes her time or calls the police, he’ll slit Alice’s throat. Yikes. Once she gets home, things get real: Hal is going to show his wife and daughter some home videos. The film he chooses to show is one of him, as a child, being questioned by his mother who explains that Hal’s dad killed the Conways because they were sinners and Hal was going to convince the escaped Conway (Mr. Svenson) not to identify his dad as the killer. Little Hal is easily persuaded that sinners deserve to die, etc., and wow, this is chilling. Why would Hal’s mom record such an incriminating interaction? good mtb stems Meanwhile, non-Sheriff Keller is arresting Hal outside the Coopers’s (is he allowed to do that?) as Alice, Betty, Fred, and Archie look on. Betty and Archie compare notes: her dad is the Black Hood; but then who broke in and shot Fred an hour ago, since it couldn’t have been Hal? Jughead interrupts this meeting of the minds with a call to tell Betty he’ll always love her. The finality of his wording alarms her, with good reason because we see that Jughead is turning himself over to Penny and the Ghoulies in exchange for cancelling the showdown. He’s jumped by 30 Ghoulies as Penny shouts that the deal was for nothing — by morning, Riverdale as we know it will cease to exist! — and opens her switchblade to get her pound of flesh from Juggy. Betty, meanwhile, has alerted F.P. to the weird Jughead call, so after asking Toni where Penny’s hideout is, he’s off to save his son… good mtb stems "It's not about the money. It's about the respect. It's about the trust. That I'm gonna come out with a number that's gonna be fabulous, that the kids could win with. I don't get that trust. I don't get that respect. I don't want flowers or candy or anything like that. I just want somebody to say, 'Wow, you've done a great job.'" good mtb stems
