While Aquino was deployed in Iraq in the mid 2000s, she could feel a mass growing in her abdomen. She didn’t report the pain — ‘What was the point?’ she thought. The wartime conditions were austere, and women in combat was still rare. Besides, she was tough — a Marine. You got to be wary of those for sure.ContentView Iframe URLTV: mtbr yeti The year is 2007. A young Vietnamese-American girl sits in a living room and smiles at the camera.
