So what happens to us as the climate changes? Our identity is impacted. The ways we know how to farm, fish, and hunt must also change. Our practices, languages, and stories will need to adapt to explain the new relationship or identity we experience through climate change. Most of our indigenous knowledge systems are a result of our ancestors’ collective experience over millennia, and teach us how to survive and provide for future generations.
