is located in Sheldon, Illinois. Welbel and her twin sister, both natives of nearby Evanston, told a few of her friends who were already on the fence about going back to school about her plan; six of them decided to come with. In August, they all moved to the farm with the mission of advancing regenerative agriculture as an alternative to conventional agriculture and promoting Jewish values. Throughout the semester, the team engaged in agroforestry practices, did research with universities, and created a live-in apprenticeship program for future young farmers. After this experience, Welbel says she is considering switching her second major from urban studies to Earth and planetary sciences. While she can still see herself in a career in urban design and planning, she wants to do it through an environmental lens. yt capra base Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello's L.A. House Was Broken Into While They Were Home yt capra base I used my knowledge and strength to become who I am today, and I encourage you to do the same and stand up for what is right. We cannot risk giving up on the fight for equality for all children and young people. We have too much to lose. The world has too much to lose. We must find and learn new ways to reach equality for all. We must learn new lessons and employ them. We must use them in our everyday lives, in our schools and communities, and in our own moment. And most urgently, we need to find our empathy again, and to use that empathy and speak up with courage. We owe it to ourselves and we owe it to the next generation.* yt capra base My family and I were resettled in Newcastle in the United Kingdom in late 2015. I am in school and at the same time I am continuing to advocate for a world where all children and young people get the chance to learn. In June, I became UNICEF’s youngest ever Goodwill Ambassador. It is in this role that I will give my voice to the children that need it the most, to give them hope and a better chance of going to school. yt capra base
