Instead, she has the uncomfortable conversations with her peers, she educates herself tirelessly, but most importantly, she listens to the voices that go unheard all too often. Working on Kat’s campaign was the privilege of a lifetime. Because of Kat, a movement in our state of Rhode Island has been created, one dedicated to passing the mic to youth organizers, trans people, and marginalized candidates. I am lucky to call her my family, to have worked on her campaign, and to live in a city that will go on to elect such a fearless leader as one of our next city councilors. Here is to more and more young womxn running for office across the country. Here is to more best friends working together in perfect duality to bring a shared vision to life. And here is to a continuation of smashing the patriarchal boys club that says it impossible for bubbly, excited, and femme womxn to be elected. The tides are turning, and the millennial womxn and femmes are stepping onto the shore.Get the Teen Vogue Take.Sign up for theTeen Vogueweekly email.Related:Why Young People Should VoteCheck this out: trek dual sport 3 tire size Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Attended Their First Met Gala as a CoupleKnock Down the House trek dual sport 3 tire size But Milo, who played the brooding bad boy, has a surprising reason why that would be a great happily ever after. âI think it would be good for Jess to be like Luke because Luke is a good guy," hetoldEW trek dual sport 3 tire size
