appropriated Crusader symbolism in his anti-Muslim manifesto mavic cyclocross I think the benefit of having these characters have their point of view is it does give the audience the spectrum of the layers in people. So, you do see Reggie as this strong guy, and militant, and takes himself so seriously, and then at that moment it's like, he's human. He's trying to figure out throughout the series is he a man or is he a movement? And at that moment it's like, “I don't know if I can do both.” When he's looking up to Malcolm X, one of his idols, and Angela Davis and all these people who are just 'the movement, the movement, the movement,' but then when the sh*t hits the fan and he's in it, then he's not sure of himself. To tell you the truth, I've had a lot of people send me messages and whatever on social media talking about, “wow, thank you for that character and thank you for redefining masculinity.” I'm still trying to process what that means, but I never even looked at it like that. mavic cyclocross My first time reading it was in our cast table read and people were checking with me prior like, “have you read episode 5 yet?” And I said no because we were shooting at the same time so I didn't have time. But we read it, and the room was kinda quiet, and then we all left and went about our business. Then I went to work out, ride my bike in the hills, and just started to think about it, and I just cried. I cried and cried and cried because I started to get a hint of what we were doing with the show. And that particular episode, it wasn't written that Reggie breaks down or whatever at the end, but it was just so real for me. That is the reality of what we're going through today.TV mavic cyclocross In this op-ed, writer Danielle Campoamor explores the hypocrisy of the Trump administration calling for safe spaces while mistreating marginalized people. mavic cyclocross
