Another intriguing storyline for Sierra this season is when Monse and her friends concoct a money laundering scheme to buy Cesar out of the Santos gang. All the heightened drama means Sierra gets to tap into her forensics knowledge as the squad struggles to erase their tracks and keep suspicion from police at bay. The high-stakes storyline allowed her to combine her love for acting with her academic background, something she hopes to maintain throughout her career. “I absolutely love biology and my goal is to go into forensics,” she shares. “If one day I can be shooting a movie and the next day I can be on a crime scene, that would be a dream come true for me.
