She had been diagnosed with depression and anxiety several years earlier, but says it was the bullying that pushed her to a tipping point. townie 7i For Evie, her transition has had a significant positive impact on her life. “I became slightly more confident,” she says in her characteristically understated tone. “I'm definitely still kind of anxious when I'm in social situations, but not as much as I was. I guess I just felt like I could stick up for myself a bit more, if that makes any sense.” When she’s not studying, Evie says she typically spends her free time reading or playing video games in between classes at DePaul. townie 7i who is one of Gigi Hadid's BFFs, and her former assistant.
