So Ryan secured Gwyneth Horder-Payton to do episode four and Tina Mabry to do episode seven, and Gwyneth to also do episode eight. He pulled me aside [during shooting] one day and said, “You’re going to do episode six.” five ten slippers Janet already made history as the first trans woman of color to write for a major television show. Before the series officially aired, she added “producer” to that record-breaking title. And last night, it became official: Janet Mock is the first trans woman of color to write, produce, and direct a network TV episode. five ten slippers
