Iâm not asking to go back in time. Iâm not asking for a different nominee or a different president. All Iâm asking is for people to stop describing Harrisâs ascension to vice president as some sort of ultimate victory for women and our representation. Keep making T-shirts and pointing her out on television to boys and girls across the country, but accept that young women like me know better. We know that the country was not voting for a woman in November. That does not mean that they never will â or already havenât. After all, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by millions in 2016. And it doesnât mean that Harris is not helping pave the way. She is normalizing a woman holding the countryâs second-highest office. But notthe urban track 6ku So donât tell me that Harris is proof that women can do anything. She is proof that, for now, we still canât. If a woman as brilliant and qualified as she is can still only achieve her power by aligning herself with a white man, how are young women such as myself supposed to believe that the sky is the limit? How am I supposed to feel like a victor when I am certain that there are plenty of people who may have voted for Biden despite Kamala being on the ticket and not because of it? urban track 6ku Reckons With Staying Silent or Speaking Out Against Police Brutality]( urban track 6ku characters like Tom Nook and Isabelle, bringing together a slew of other villagers to spend the day with.
