There is no one way to be a teenager. There are so many stereotypes of what an American teen â particularly a New York teen â is supposed to behave like. If you want to go out every night, that's fine. If you don't, that's also fine. No one has any idea what they are doing at this age. Everyone is just as confused and they will try to push their confusion onto you. It's scary and frustrating at times, but perfectly normal to feel.
