Nupol began talking to students that day about how voting locally is one of the most important things they could do. “I told them that in some ways the president is like a figurehead, and local politics, like voting for the district attorney, are what really matter,” she says. “I was like, ‘If you get in trouble, that’s the person who could decide your whole life.’” shimano equipment I’m white, and I recognize the privilege that comes along with that; while it’s rare for me to see disabled characters like me in the media, it’s even rarer for disabled people of color to see themselves represented. There is even a hashtag movement,#DisabilityTooWhite shimano equipment "I've done a lot of prank calls before, but I think the funniest thing was something my brother did. My brother does it all the time, honestly. It's like his favorite thing. He calls a Chinese restaurant as another Chinese restaurant. And they answer the phone. And they're like, 'Hi, what's your order?' And then he's like, 'I have a delivery.' And they're like, 'OK, where to?' And then, you know, you say the address. And then you start, like, rattling off your own Chinese order. Saying something like, 'We're delivering an egg roll.' Like, all this stuff. And they get so pissed off. And at one point, they were like, 'You need to shove it—shove your Chinese food where the sun don't shine.' It was stupid." shimano equipment the plot twist is even more upsetting to those who do have SCID. shimano equipment
