A big thing for me was that we have to talk about race on the show. These are not just trans characters: All of the girls on our show are black girls — some of them have intersections of being Latina or Hispanic — but they’re all black girls. The ballroom is a black and brown space before it’s a trans and queer space. So you can’t just say we have this great trans and queer show, you have to add in the layer of the race stuff. Those are conversations that I don’t think were as sharp and as centered until I stepped into the room and Steven had a co-conspirator. The conversation shifted because the room was balanced a little bit more. I had to be very clear that a white trans girl’s experience is very different than a black trans girl’s experience — especially a black trans girl that’s struggling with economic resources in 1980s New York City. So we gave Elektra more pointed lines about whiteness, or Angel started calling Stan a white suburban boy. We had to put that stuff in there.Courtesy of FX/Pose jeans ke kapde ke bag Yes, because I love love and I love romance! I’m just such a sucker for that stuff. And she can be a woman, she doesn't’ have to be the mother, or the martyr. She doesn’t have to teach anyone a lesson. She just wants that D! [laughs] And then she had that girlfriend moment that every trans woman knows: Candy works in a boutique and Bianca Castro, Jiggly Caliente, and Trace Lysette are our guest stars working in the store with her. It was my favorite scene to shoot. Any time we get even two [trans] girls together in a scene, it’s already something that has never been done [on television] before. In these scenes, you realize the diversity of opinion, and that trans people are not a monolith. That trans women of color are not a monolith. That we have many different ways of seeing ourselves and one another and impact how we live in the world. jeans ke kapde ke bag Someone Posted an eBay Listing For Damn Daniel's White VansCheck this out: jeans ke kapde ke bag When economists talk about work, they talk about the labor market, wages, pensions, and unemployment. But your decision to go to work is just a choice you make about how you’re going to live the life you want. It’s your livelihood. jeans ke kapde ke bag
