I was living in Minneapolis at the time, and I covered the Minnesota march, which drew a crowd of more than 90,000 people, for Rewire.org, a local, millennial-geared PBS affiliate thatâs now defunct. I interviewed at least a dozen women and I framed my article and accompanying photo essay around a central question:What Do They Plan to Do Next? rado photo In their next go-round of press, I fear that the silly questions that BTS have politely answered in the past ( rado photo which requires companies to share information on what, if any, steps they are taking to minimize forced labor, is not nearly adequate. Simply informing consumers of a company's practices does not necessarily lead to change; rather, corporations must be held liable for profiting off of human rights abuses. rado photo
