When the first Halloween rolled around after the first movie came out, people were dressing like Lara Jean. I talked to so many Asian Americans who were dressing up as Lara Jean who were like, "I finally have something to dress up as that's mainstream, that people actually know what I am." I'm constantly every day blown away by the fact that we even got to do this in the first place. And now, it's the third movie and it's huge. People were coming up to us on the streets in Korea talking to us about the movie. I'm like, "Oh my God." 1729sl01 perhaps most notably the avowed socialist Eugene V. A lot went down last night, and it would have been easy to miss this (seemingly innocuous?) interaction, but thanks to a few super observant audience members, we now know – and have photographic proof – that Niall and Selena exchanged a hug last night. 1729sl01 I have endless memories from filming in Korea that are all so special. I was telling this story earlier, one day we were filming that part in the montage where we're on the tandem bike, and that was a struggle for us to figure out how to ride that bike. We rehearsed back and forth so much, and it was such a hot day, we were all sweaty, had fans and ice packs on us as we were trying to ride it. We were switching spots, like, "Oh, who should drive it?" "Who should be in the back?" And, as this was all happening, a passerby was walking a corgi, and we just like stopped, and we were like, "Please, I know we need to work and we need to get the shot done, but can we please say hi to the dog?" I had the best picture, all three of us just look so happy. 1729sl01
