Emile Smith Rowe did score on his first start, an already trademark finish as he ghosted into the penalty box. There was an assist for the second of Harry Kane's four goals too on a night that neither man is ever likely to forget. Aaron Ramsdale had rather less to do. mtp 1300 Remarkably, James' total of 26 touches in the opposition box is only two fewer than Joao Cancelo and three behind Aston Villa's Matty Cash - and those top two in this metric have played more than twice as many minutes as James this season, with suspension and an ankle injury restricting the England man's game time. mtp 1300 Mahomes' interception came on a red-zone laser that cannoned up off Jerick McKinnon's helmet - that probably wouldn't have happened over the past two seasons. On his touchdown pass to Hill at the back of the end zone Mahomes appeared to miss a wide-open Kelce curl - his eyes had not got there yet, but in the past they might not have needed to. A trick play in which a motioning Mahomes took a behind-the-back flip from Kelce in wildcat before seeking out Hill amounted to a frustrated throw away - the unpredictability was a little... predictable? mtp 1300 Please use Chrome browser for a more accessible video player mtp 1300
