As we were developing the production of the songs for the EP, my producers pulled up the Bob Dylan music video "Subterranean Homesick Blues." I thought it was such a cool video and I loved the concept. When we began thinking of an idea for the “Awkward" video, the head of my label suggested we do a modern day version of Dylan's video.
