The best advice that other women of color in doc have shared with me that I think is the most affirming thing is just call yourself what you think other people should call you. Sometimes people underestimate how difficult it is to name yourself when you don't see anyone else around you who are doing that thing. Sometimes that affirmation is not going to come until it comes from yourself. There are so many incredible black women who are making docs and finding that community of people and being able to see that mentorship [is so important]. casco rocket rosa Of course! Women don't know what they want. One day we want this, the next day we want something else. That's why we make men crazy. We never know what we want!TV casco rocket rosa On Monday, January 29, activists from the MN Divest Invest Coalition, which is a group of organizations that have come together to highlight community resistance to the Super Bowl, gathered outside the NFL Opening Night press conference, fighting to have their voices heard and needs met. Every movement that we [as queer people] have had has always started with drag queens. We are the voices, we are the marchers, we are the fundraisers, we are the caregivers, we are the entertainment. We are what makes you smile when things are rough and we are what makes you smile when things aren’t so rough. I think that drag queens are the griffins. A griffin is a creature that is half-lion/half-eagle and guards treasure, and we [as drag queens] are the griffins, the guardians of the queer treasure.Twitter contentView on TwitterTV casco rocket rosa
