“It ties directly into the broader tools and tactics they use, which is a combination of disinformation, duplicity, conspiracy theories, and straight-up hate and violence,” Spitalnick says. “And so the confluence of all of the events of 2020 — from the pandemic to the reckoning that we're finally having on racial justice — is in some ways a perfect storm that has allowed these extremists to try to further their conspiracies, their disinformation, their violence.” nike animal pack 2.0 The women in this book are mainly from the United States, because thatâs where this book is being published. But many of them are from other countries, and Iâm especially excited to share these international stories with you, dear readers. Hereâs the thing: the U.S. is not exactly a role model when it comes to having women in political office. We havenât even elected a woman president, and Iceland accomplished that back in 1980! There was no pressure to perform because you knew you werenât going to go home. Having been on the show before, I canât even imagine a day where they come in to say, âDonât worry. Youâre not going home.â It would just be likeâ¦woah, why am I even going to try? Well, I actually wouldnât do that. But itâs much different than being like I cannot get sent homeâ¦especially on the first episode. nike animal pack 2.0
