It sucks that there’s a stigma in rap music, especially when you’re a Black man — people just assume that you’re rapping about trapping and women, but I’m actually very introspective and like to talk about the things I’m feeling. If I’m writing a song, then most likely it’s about things that have happened to me, are currently happening, or things that I aspire to be. Everyone just wants to put you in a box and because I wanted this project, in particular, to be groovy and have a dance vibe, people around me were saying I couldn’t do it and I should stick to what I know. Just because I’m a Black artist, they expect me to either be a really good singer or a really good rapper, but I can’t be both in their eyes.ContentView Iframe URLTeen Vogue adidas supernova mens The story is written in gossip-column style by Rita Skeeter—you know, the witch journalist who basically wrote totally false information while she worked for theDaily Prophet adidas supernova mens It’s not just that St. Louis will feel more like Prosper.
